How it works

1. Collect a poop sample
The microbiome test kit includes everything you’ll need to collect two pea-sized samples of your dog’s poop.

2. Activate & mail
Activate your kit online and return your dog’s sample with the prepaid envelope.

3. Results in 2-3 weeks
Using DNA sequencing, we identify the types and proportions of all the bacteria living in your dog’s gut and compare it to our healthy reference set. In about two weeks, you’ll receive an email notification that your test results are ready.

We had been having issues with our pup not eating well. They started after her first heat cycle started. But she had also been through lots of meds for Giardia, Coccidia, and then whipworm. We had been to the vet and in contact with the vet and the breeder we got her from. We had tried everything we could think of from changing dog dishes to multiple foods and supplements as well as additives. Nothing helped. Surprisingly she continued to gain well but would not eat the recommended amount and bowels were off. Vet did full panel bloodwork, all came back normal. Consulted with vet and breeder after finding the gut health test on line. They agreed it would be best to see what was going on. . Gut health test was easy to do and results came back in good amount of time. Findings were all good and they gave good suggestions. We have since discovered she prefers meat over kibble. We feed a mixture of both and things are going well. I am very thankful for the gut health test availability, it relieved a lot of stress and help us to focus more on what needed to be done. Our girl is a year old now, doing great!

Definitely a good breakdown to provide to the vet. Not too sure how to read it but I knew his gut was off. Hopefully with this we can pinpoint the best nutrition for my guy ❤️
